Stop Accepting What They Offer.
Start Demanding What You're Worth.
Insurance companies don't negotiate with individual providers. They don't have to — and they know it. The only way to change the math is to stop acting alone.
Medical Practitioners Alliance gives providers the structure, legal framework, and collective leverage to force insurers to the table. This is how hospitals get paid. It's how unions have worked for a century. And it's how we're going to fix reimbursement for independent practitioners.
Why Collective Bargaining Works
This isn't theory. It's proven.
Hospital systems across the country negotiate as unified entities and consistently secure rates 40–60% higher than independent practitioners receive for identical services. Phoenix Children's Hospital does this with every major Arizona insurer — every year — and wins. The strategy works because the math is simple:
When one provider asks for better rates, the insurer says no and moves on. When 30% of a network threatens coordinated withdrawal, the insurer faces a crisis it can't ignore. Insurers need providers. We just need to act like it.
How MPA Works
We're building state by state — strategically, not all at once.
We're launching in states with the worst reimbursement disparities first, working through the process with smaller pilot groups before scaling. When enough providers in your state have joined to create real leverage, we enter negotiations. Until then, your membership builds the infrastructure and war chest to fight effectively when the moment comes.
Phase 1 — Building: Recruit providers in your state. Track progress. Stay informed.
Phase 2 — Negotiating: Your state hits critical mass. Active negotiations begin. Members vote on strategy, proposed contracts, and next steps.
Phase 3 — Results: Collectively negotiated rates go into effect — or we collectively withdraw. Either way, you're not alone and you're not powerless.
Our Memberships
Lock in $49/month before it's gone—forever. The first 500 Founding Members pay $49/month permanently, even as pricing increases for new members. Members 501-2,000 pay $59/month. After 2,000, new members pay $69/month. Only the first 500 get lifetime rate protection. You get intelligence, updates, and community while we build leverage. No obligation to participate in negotiations. Early commitment = $49 locked in for life. Join before spot 500 is claimed.
Negotiating Members are where talk becomes action. Your state has reached critical mass—providers standing together—and it's time to demand what you're worth. As a Negotiating Member, you're not just observing the process. You're part of the collective force that sits across the table from insurance companies with real leverage. You have a voice in strategy, a vote on proposed contracts, and a binding commitment to the outcomes we achieve together. This is where we win.
Alliance Partner = Founding Member benefits + self-funded health plan development. Your extra $10/mo funds actuarial analysis, TPA selection, stop-loss insurance, and reserves. Choose this ONLY if you intend to join the health plan—not binding, but accurate intent is critical for viability. Target launch: 18-24 months after 750 members enrolled. Estimated savings: $6,700-9,500/year. Includes priority enrollment and input on plan design. Minimum 12-month commitment
1. Join as Founding Member ($45/mo)
Build critical mass in your state. Track progress. Stay informed.
2. Upgrade When Your State Hits Threshold
When we have enough providers to create leverage, you're invited to participate in negotiations at $100/mo.
3. Negotiate Collectively or Walk Together
Force insurers to pay fair rates or collectively withdraw from panels.
The first 500 members lock in $49/month permanently.
This is the entry point. You're joining during the building phase — before your state has hit negotiating threshold — and your membership directly funds the infrastructure that makes collective bargaining possible.
What you get:
Monthly updates on enrollment progress in your state
Reimbursement intelligence reports — what insurers are actually paying in your state
Access to the member community and resources
Early notification when your state reaches critical mass
Transparent financial reporting on how membership dues are used
Priority invitation to upgrade to Negotiating Member when your state launches
What your dues fund:
Legal framework and ongoing attorney support
Operational infrastructure and staff
Research and leverage analysis
Recruitment to reach critical mass faster
Your commitment:
$49/month (cancel anytime with 30 days' notice)
No obligation to participate in negotiations — that decision is yours when the time comes
Pricing structure: The first 500 members pay $49/month — locked in permanently, regardless of future price increases. Members 501–2,000 pay $59/month. After 2,000 members, new memberships are $69/month. Only the first 500 get lifetime rate protection.
This tier is for you if: You're paying poverty-level reimbursement rates and want to be part of the solution. You want intelligence and community while we build leverage. You're not ready to commit to active negotiations yet — but you want a seat at the table when it's time.

FAQ: Can I cancel anytime? Yes, 30 days' notice required. What if my state never hits threshold? You can continue your membership for updates, request a transfer to another state's group, or cancel. Do I have to upgrade when my state launches? No — upgrading to Negotiating Member is always your choice.
Alliance Member — $59/month
Founding Member benefits, plus a stake in building a self-funded health plan.
The Alliance Member tier is for providers who want to participate in the next phase of what MPA is building: a self-funded health plan that gives members an alternative to the commercial insurance market entirely.
Your additional $10/month goes directly toward actuarial analysis, TPA selection, stop-loss insurance, and plan reserves. This tier is not binding — but accurate intent matters. We need to know how many providers plan to participate in order to design a viable plan.
Target launch: 18–24 months after 750 members enrolled. Estimated annual savings: $6,700–$9,500 per member.
What you get — everything in Founding Membership, plus:
Priority enrollment status when the self-funded plan launches
Voting rights on plan design — coverage options, network structure, and cost-sharing
Access to an Alliance-only forum to discuss health plan development in detail
Regular updates on actuarial progress and plan development milestones
Choose this tier only if you genuinely intend to join the health plan. If you're not sure yet, start with Founding Membership — you can upgrade at any time.

Negotiating Member — $100/month
Available by invitation when your state reaches critical mass.
This is where collective bargaining actually happens. Your state has enough providers enrolled to create real leverage, and it's time to use it.
As a Negotiating Member, you're not observing — you're part of the collective force that sits across the table from insurance companies with the power to walk. You have a voice in strategy, a vote on proposed contracts, and a binding commitment to honor the outcome the group decides on together.
How you join:
Option 1 — Wait for the invitation (most common): Join as a Founding Member now. When your state hits critical mass, you'll receive an invitation to upgrade. You decide at that point whether you're ready.
Option 2 — Commit early: Join as a Founding Member and indicate now that you intend to upgrade when your state launches. You pay $49/month until negotiations begin, then automatically move to $100/month. Your early commitment helps us reach threshold faster.
What you get depends on when you joined as a Founding Member:
Tier 1 — First 20% of critical mass: Full voting rights on strategy, tactics, and final contract terms. Submit proposals. Influence the approach. Vote on collective withdrawal if we reach that point.
Tier 2 — Next 20% of critical mass: Vote on final contract acceptance or rejection. Decide whether we accept the terms or walk together.
Tier 3 — All remaining members: Guaranteed inclusion in negotiated rates. Weekly updates throughout negotiations. Full participation in collective action. Equal benefit from rate increases.
All Negotiating Members receive:
Legal protection throughout the negotiation process
Access to all proposed contract terms before any vote
Transition support if collective withdrawal is triggered
Immediate implementation of new rates upon agreement
Your commitment:
$100/month during active negotiations (typically 3–6 months)
Accept the collectively negotiated outcome — binding for all members
Participate in collective withdrawal if the voting membership decides to walk
Maintain confidentiality during negotiations
Honor a 90-day patient transition period if withdrawal is triggered
After negotiations conclude: revert to $49/month Founding Member rate, or cancel
This tier is for you if: You're done accepting what insurers offer. You're willing to be bound by a collective decision. You understand that leverage only works if everyone uses it together.
This tier is NOT for you if: You're satisfied with your current reimbursement rates. You're unwilling to accept a collectively negotiated outcome. You want to observe without participating.

What the Data Shows
This isn't about complaining. It's about arithmetic.
41% of U.S. providers now see insurance denial rates above 10% — up significantly from 2024. (Experian Health)
After adjusting for inflation, Medicare reimbursement for providers has declined 33% from 2001 to 2025. Providers are facing yet another 6% reduction this year. (American Medical Association)
58% of behavioral health executives report that minimal rate increases and payer cuts are among their most significant financial strains. (Behavioral Health Business)
You are not failing. The system is designed to extract maximum work for minimum pay. The only way to change it is to stop negotiating alone.
Alone, you're replaceable. Together, we're unavoidable.
Insurance companies are counting on providers staying divided and staying silent. That's the only reason this has worked for as long as it has.
Join now. Lock in your rate. Build the leverage.
